The Haven in Woodbury provides Adult Outpatient Chemical Dependency Services. The minimum age for program participation is eighteen. The length of involvement is determined on an individual basis and is reviewed periodically. Initial evening sessions are held three days per week for three hours per session.

Adult Outpatient Chemical Dependency Services

• Clients can expect to develop essential life-management skills as they are assisted in:
• Flexible structure
• Comprehensive assessment
• Group therapy
• Individual sessions
• Individualized treatment plans for client and family
• Individual, family, employer, etc. conferences as required
• Psychological assessment and care as required
• Cognitive skills work
• Relapse prevention work
• Educational/interactive lectures
• Activities and exercises are assigned based on each person’s needs and abilities. For non-readers, audiotapes and tape-recorded assignments are utilized. Also available:

- Audio-visual equipment
- Video library
- Audio tapes
- Books
- Workbooks
- Pamphlets

Our program consists of different levels of intensity with each client progressing at an individual rate. Progress towards mutually established goals is regularly reviewed and revised when necessary. Each client’s individual progress will determine the optimal point of discharge from the program
