Program Director—The Haven in Shakopee/Waconia

Haven Chemical Health Systems is looking for a Program Director for our locations in Shakopee and Waconia, MN.  The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing staff and working with clients in Outpatient Treatment settings. Travel between two locations is required.

Requirements:
-Must be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Minnesota
-At least one year of work experience in direct service to individuals with chemical use problems or one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with chemical use problems.
-B.A. or 3 years of work experience in administration or personnel supervision in human services.
-Knowledge of Rule 31 licensing requirements
-Documented 12 required hours of Mental Health training for alcohol and drug counselors
-Training working with the Six Dimensions for Rule 31 clinics
-Ability to work as part of a team and independently
-Ability to travel between two locations

Desired Qualifications:
-CPR/First Aid Certified

Responsibilities Include:
-Assessment of chemical use problems and intake
-Creation and monitoring of individualized treatment plans
-Deliver psycho-educational lectures
-Maintain own caseload and facilitate group and individual therapy as needed
-All aspects of staff supervision including hiring, training and clinical supervision

TMA (Trained Medication Administrator) - Paul's Place
On Call TMAs needed working at 6-bed Men's Residential Facility in Farmington, MN. Flexible schedule, day, evening and weekend hours as available.

Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma/GED
-Available to work evenings and/or overnights -Ability to work as part of a team and independently -Valid MN Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:
-TMA Certificate; but will train if necessary -Current CPR and First Aid training -12-step knowledge

Responsibilities Include:
-Administer medication to clients
-Light cooking and cleaning
-Office work as instructed
-Must be able to multi-task
