Welcome to Haven Chemical Health Systems LLC
Haven Chemical Health Systems opened its doors in 2000 with one outpatient facility, The Haven in Woodbury. Not long after, two additional facilities, The Haven in Shakopee and Margaret’s House, which is a ten-bed Residential facility for women located in Mendota Heights were built. This was then followed shortly by the opening of The Haven in Waconia, as well as The Haven in Cloquet. Most recently in 2004, Rebecca’s Residence in Scandia was opened which, similar to Margaret’s House, is a ten-bed women’s Residential Facility.
We currently offer Adult Outpatient Programs in Woodbury, Shakopee, Cloquet, and Waconia. In addition to the Adult Outpatient programs, Waconia and Cloquet offer Adolescent programs--Waconia being home to both an evening program and a day program. We are also proud to announce that The Haven in Shakopee will be adding an adolescent program that will begin in the Fall of 2005! All of our programs at the various locations are lead by Minnesota State Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
Bob Haven, President of Haven Chemical Health Systems has an extensive history in the Chemical Dependency field. In 1974 he established a 50-bed residential treatment program and helped maintain that program for over 25 years. During that time he also opened a 20-bed residential women’s program, four outpatient programs in the Twin Cities metro area, two programs in correctional institutions and managed programs in St. Louis and Los Angeles, as well as an aftercare in New York City. He has also done consulting work for programs around the countryand for Blue Cross Blue Shield in the area of chemical dependency.
The Haven in Woodbury is currently home to our business office as well as an Adult Outpatient program. All admission and information calls, as well as billing questions can be serviced best at this location.
